Karnak Studio Diary pt VII

Finally our adventure has come to an end! Last week we worked on the mixing, and it was a thrilling experience!! Giovanni Nebbia (the sound engineer at Ithil World studio) demonstrated great professionalism, expressing his abilities to the fullest. During this time spent working I understood that he’s number one. I had sensed it when I recorded with Mauro Vero and had it confirmed when I decided to entrust him with the recording of our album. Karnak Studio Diary pt V

Guitar solos recorded! As soon as I entered the studio this morning, while the sound engineer was mic’ing the cabinet (see photo below) I warmed up for half an hour. We worked calmly, we had 2 hours to spare and even had time to relax and chat (which is important when recording solos)! ...

Tuesday and Wednesday the bass and keyboard tracks were completed! Gabriele Chiusano and Tomaso Delfino did a truly excellent job, I can only thank them for contributing to bringing this creation to life. Hearing these pieces that I composed over the years take shape was truly exciting. Now only my solos and vocals are missing, so some segments are complete!! I can’t contain my excitement! The sound engineer at Ithil World Recording Studio, Giovanni Nebbia, is doing a sensational job. I’m sure that listening to the final result you’ll hear his added value! ...
